Scots language at St Ninians Primary School Stirling 2008
Since the collection of words started in 2002, it has continued to grow. With help from Scots Language Dictionaries the words have been gathered in a database. Class representatives will shortly meet Chris Robinson at Scots Language Dictionaries to decide what they want to do with this collection of thousands of Scots words. St Ninians Assistant Head Elaine Wyllie said "The ideas come from the children. As teachers we can generate the passion for the language but the children come up with the ideas of how they want to make Scots more widely used".
