It's guid tae see the new front page o the site takkin shape, I maun say it luiks braw, daes it no? Guid tae see the YouTube channel an picturs section up, I ralley like the wey the site's gettin mair multimedia aw the time. Verra nice indeed. Speakin o picturs, that minds me - gin ye see Scots uissit i things like street signs, shop names etc. please tak a pictur an send it in tae the site tae pit up. I hae a hantle mair tae send gin I can jist wark out whit wey tae wark BlueTooth... whit a fankle!
Yesterday up on Blackford Hill wir kirk haed wir annual eirly mornin Easter service - an wis it no jist a braw day? Last year we haed snaw, maist years gin it's no snell it's at least dreich, wi sang sheets fleein about i the wund. Nane o that on Sunday it wis as still as.... still as.... still as a verra still thing, oniewey. Aince mair ma faither read frae Lorimer's Scots translate o the New Testament (mind an check out the readins on the hame page), this time wi encouragement frae fowks aforehaun, he'd speired gin they wantit it i Scots or Inglis. Scots it wis - an the reactions o fowk tae hearin it wis hairtsome tae see. They didna see the wark as a joke, or as something couthy an quaint - they ralley lissened tae whit the readins haed tae say, an that wis rare tae see.
Aw the best,
Dunc
